I'm Caden Crowson, a software developer, and this is where I publish the interactive projects I build in my spare time. Everything here runs directly in your browser — nothing to download or install. The screen above works like an old television: each VHS tape on the rack is one of my projects, and clicking a tape "inserts" it so you can see a live preview before launching the full version.
A visual countdown timer that turns any picture into an hourglass. Pick a duration and an image — one of the built-in presets or a photo you upload — and grains of sand fall from the top of the screen and settle into place, slowly assembling your picture pixel by pixel. When the image is complete, time is up. It's a calmer way to watch time pass than staring at digits, and it works well for study sessions, presentations, and classroom timers.
A merge-style incremental game. Items spawn onto your board automatically; drag two identical items together and they combine into the next item in the chain, earning you money to spend on upgrades like faster spawning and automatic merging. Deeper in, the game opens up with prestige resets, new sectors, cosmetic themes, and an online leaderboard. If you create a free account, your progress syncs to the cloud so you can continue on another device.
A crafting and automation game where the recipe book is written by an AI. Combine any two items on the crafting grid and a language model decides what they make, so the tech tree keeps growing in directions no one planned. Once you've discovered recipes by hand, you can place generators and machines on the factory floor to automate them. Each week the game announces a difficult AI-generated goal item, and players race to be among the first to craft it.
The showcase shell you're looking at is a Vite + React app. Each project lives in its own repository and is deployed independently to Vercel; this domain uses subpath rewrites so they all appear under cadencrowson.com. Everything is hand-written — no template, no site builder. If you're curious about how any of it works, the about page has more detail, or you can email me — I'm happy to talk shop.
